We help match you with jobs. To do that we process your CV and profile, and we use AI to help evaluate fit. A human — not the AI — decides whether to move you forward.
What we collect
Your name, contact details, location, CV/resume, LinkedIn profile, and information our system infers from them (skills, experience, fit scores).
How we use AI
We send your CV and profile to AI providers (OpenAI and Google Gemini, in the United States) and a LinkedIn data provider (Apify, US) to extract details and to score and rank you against job requirements. These scores are advisory. A human recruiter reviews them and makes the decision to advance or decline. You can ask for a human review of, and contest, any decision, and ask us to explain the logic involved.
Sharing with employers
We provide your profile to potential employers only after your explicit consent for each submission.
International transfer
Your data is stored in Japan, but some providers are in the United States. We rely on contracts requiring APPI-equivalent protection (plus standard contractual clauses) and your consent for these transfers. The US is not covered by a Japan adequacy finding; the providers commit contractually to protect your data.
Sensitive information
Please avoid including sensitive details (health, disability, criminal record, race, religion, political/union affiliation) in your CV where possible. If present, we rely on your consent to process them.
Retention
We keep your data for up to 3 years of inactivity, then delete it unless you ask us to keep it.
Your rights & how to use them
- Download your data — in the portal: Profile → "Download my data".
- Request deletion — in the portal: Profile → "Request data deletion".
- Correction, suspension of use, or third-party-provision suspension — contact talent@valuecreate.net.
